Random Thoughts about Cell Phones and Kids

It absolutely amazes me how quickly Ari takes to technology. Today I picked up my cell phone and saw that I had a message from Tom Cole one of our leaders on our last outreach here in Alaska. In the message Tom with a chuckle in his voice informed me that he had just gotten a call from me and as he picked up the phone he was surprised to find that he wasn’t talking to me but Arianna who was jabbering happily away on the other end of the line. He then suggested we start locking our phone. The problem is my phone was locked! At just over a year and a half Ari has not only figured out how to make phone calls on my cell (she called my brother in law Peter not 3 days before this) but she has completely outwitted the lock program on my phone. If this is a year and a half what happens when she’s a teenager?
